BOOKS

Writing and publishing picture books has been my main focus the past 17 years. During that time I’ve had the good fortune to work with some of the world’s leading publishing houses including Harper Collins (AUS), Candlewick Press (USA), Milan (France), Cappellen Damm (Norway), Carlsen (Germany), and Scholastic. Sometimes thoughtful, sometimes funny, my books have been published in 16 countries across 13 languages, picking up a number of literary and design awards along the way.

MUSIC

I love singing and the songwriting process and can happily loop melodies in my mind for hours waiting for the right lyrics to land. While I enjoy recording and performing in intimate settings, these days I’m keen on collaborating with emerging and established artists as a songwriter: making my ideas and songs available for others to work their magic on. POETRY

Finding engaging ways to communicate with words is a bit of a passion. I don’t know how it all started - I still have a number of short stories I wrote before I was ten - but I do know playing with words, cadence and sometimes rhyme never gets old for me. From books to poems to blogs there is something immensely satisfying in capturing the essence of an idea and sharing from the heart things that come to mind.
